Atlanta Medical Center Names New COO
Atlanta Medical Center announced the promotion of William (Bill) Masterton to chief operating officer of the 460-bed comprehensive healthcare facility. Masterton has served as Atlanta Medical Center’s chief financial officer since November 2003. Prior to that, he was with Iasis Healthcare Corporation where he served as the chief financial officer at a number of hospitals including Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL, Town & Country Hospital in Tampa, FL, and Memorial Hospital of Tampa. He also served as a market chief financial officer for the three facilities. Masterton has experience as a senior management consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick. Masterton holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in business administration also from the University of South Florida. Masterton is a certified public accountant.

Emory Names Molter Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Communications
Jeffrey L. Molter recently began his new role as Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Communications at Emory University. Molter comes to Emory from Duke University, where he served as director of the Duke University Medical Center and Health System News Office in Durham, North Carolina from 2000-2006. Prior to his work at Duke, Molter served as director of science news for the Journal of the American Medical Association in Chicago for 10 years. Molter came to JAMA from the American Academy of Pediatrics in Elk Grove Village, IL, where he was director of communications for seven years. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Journalism. He has lectured extensively throughout North America on a number of medical and health issues, and has received awards from several groups, including: Association of American Medical Colleges, PR Week, Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators and the Publicity Club of Chicago.

Costabile Named Amerinet Central President and CFO
The Amerinet Central board of directors has named Michael Costabile president and CFO of Amerinet Central, one of two investor-owners of Amerinet. In his expanded role, Costabile will work closely with Amerinet’s board and leadership team in their efforts to integrate operations, product development and sales nationally. In addition, he will provide executive leadership to the organization’s business lines, including DataBay Resources™ data management and analysis and Inquisit® educational programming. Costabile has been Amerinet Central’s CFO since 2003 when he was promoted from senior director of finance and accounting/controller. He has played an active role in strategic planning for the new Amerinet business model and has conducted business and strategic planning, financial modeling and analysis, process improvement, system implementation and legal, regulatory and tax planning and resolution for Amerinet Central.
